Abstract
An introduction to the special issue is presented in which the editor discusses various reports within the issue on topics related to the works of French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy including the contemporary critics who work on Nancy, the relationship of the philosophy of Nancy with contemporary philosophers Alain Badiou and Quentin Meillassoux who asserts the need to abandon the senses, and the engagement of Nancy with literary and poetic themes and styles.
