Abstract
The following reports of Bible readings which have been made by groups meeting across Scotland (mainly in the central belt)are offered in the hope that they may provide a springboard for reflection on the set texts for the month, whether for those who listen to or for those who preach sermons. The hope is that they show something of the diversity of readings which these texts, some of them extremely familiar, can produce and something of the way that contemporary readers may begin to apply them to their lives, individually and corporately. In this way they may suggest new ways into the text and also new ways of connecting with those who seek to make these texts their own today.
