Abstract

Land deformation mapping plays a key role in the mitigation of subsidence hazards, and it still remains a challenge. Over the past two decades, InSAR and GPS have been widely employed to map land deformation, evidently showing their natural advantages and complementariness. In this paper, it is demonstrated that the GPS Topography-dependent Turbulence Model (GTTM) developed by Li et al. (2006) can be successfully adopted to reduce atmospheric effects on InSAR measurements using coincident GPS measurements with two overpasses of Envisat ASAR images over the Changzhou-Wuxi region.
