Abstract
This chapter explores how collegiate practice might be fostered through the establishment of a professional learning community which changes the role of school leaders and teachers alike. The notion of a professional learning community is defined and a rationale is presented for adopting this approach in a school. The challenges for teachers and school leaders are examined.
