Item Type:Website
Additional Information:This website exhibition hosts a collection of survivors’ stories about their journeys into, through and beyond the criminal justice process in Scotland, following rape or sexual assault. The stories can be read as individual accounts, but collectively they give insight into different aspects of the criminal justice process and highlight the strength and creativity of survivors engaging with and emerging through it. Each narrative is accompanied by images and other creative pieces that have been produced or selected by the survivors to represent their journey. The stories are not always easy to read, but it is important that these accounts are heard if survivor experiences are to be understood and improved. This website also contains further information about the criminal justice process in Scotland, and links to other relevant projects and sources of support if you or someone you know is affected by the issues raised through this project.
