Discusses the background to the Victims, Witnesses and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill 2023, its revised approach to prosecuting sexual offences, and controversies surrounding its key provisions, including abolition of the "not proven" verdict, and the pilot scheme to try rape cases without a jury.
