Abstract
UNDERFOOT was the first major solo exhibition in Scotland by visual artist Elizabeth Price. It featured newly commissioned moving image and textile works responding to the Stoddart-Templeton archives in the Special Collections of University of Glasgow, and photographs selected from that archive. A grant from Creative Scotland's Open Fund supported the exhibition and enabled the works to be accessioned to The Hunterian's permanent collection. UNDERFOOT was developed and realised as a partnership between The Hunterian, Panel, and Dr Fiona Jardine (Glasgow School of Art). Kingston University, Dovecot Studios and Kingston University provided additional collaborative support. My role was as exhibition curator for The Hunterian, and contributor to the public programme.
