Abstract

In this participatory workshop, delegates will be encouraged to reflect on their own use of different methods beyond the ‘triptych’ of research methods (surveys, focus groups, and interviews) which are so commonly used in SoTL, and think about the benefits and challenges of different methods. The resulting resource will be a guide for colleagues looking to conduct learner experience research. Staff-student partnership working in this context will also be addressed, in terms of encouraging participation and co-ownership of evaluation.
