Abstract

This study analyzes the performance of downlink non-orthogonal multiple access systems (NOMA). The closed- form mathematical equations of pairwise error probability (PEP) for the near and far users are obtained by considering the exponentially distributed channels in the proposed system model. The PEP performances of near and far users are analyzed with Monte Carlo simulations using the power allocation coefficient, the distance between the nodes, and path loss coefficient parameters.
