Abstract

In this session attendees are invited to reflect on their experience as Americans and global citizens living in the UK as Fulbright Scholars. Attendees will reflect on their experiences with the diverse political landscapes, vibrant cultural influences, and complex identities that shape these countries. Through open discussions and sharing of anecdotes, we will delve into the ways in which their interactions, observations, and immersion in British culture have broadened their understanding of the world. We will explore how these experiences have contributed to building bridges of mutual understanding. Grounded in their collective experiences we will consider the intersections, shared challenges, and captivating stories that connect these two countries and their regions.
