Abstract

This short piece uses Google as an example to claim that tech giant monopolists --assuming such status-- do not function as traditional monopolists, nor do they pose the same threat nor inflict similar harm to markets and consumers. Therefore, it should not be automatically assumed that their market power is a problem the same way it is for traditional monopolists.
