Abstract

How is it possible that in his books Gargling Tar (2005) and Sensitive Man (2017), written long before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Czech writer Jáchym Topol was able to define so accurately the Putinesque mentality of the Russians who are now murdering people in Ukraine today? Jan Čulík talks to Jáchym Topol about this in this Britské listy Interview,, which was broadcast on the Czech cable TV Náš Region from Tuesday 18 April 2023.
