Abstract
Re-set has published a major analysis showing that oligarch Křetínský, whose company EPH trades in fossil fuels and imports gas from Russia, not only threatens the transition to renewable energy sources in Europe, but also has a strong negative influence on the awareness of Czech society of global warming through the impact of his biased, mostly tabloid media which he runs in the Czech Republic. Its staff have been met with harsh backlash, have been - remarkably - branded extremists and even threatened with being thrown out of a helicopter. What are the facts? Jan Čulík discusses this with Radek Kubala, a researcher at Re-set. This Britské listy Interview was broadcast on the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Friday 9 December 2022.
