Abstract
Since the vote for Brexit, the UK has been mired in a political and economic crisis because its leading politicians are unable to reject the Brexiteer lies and take action. It has created an Eastern European situation where incompetent individuals get into government simply for lying and supporting the official ideology. The crisis has become unprecedentedly acute with the recent, unelected Prime Minister Liz Truss, and is not entirely resolved even with the arrival of the unelected Rishi Sunaka as Prime Minister. How will the crisis continue and how is it similar to the situation in the Czech Republic, Bohumil Kartous asks Jan Čulík in this Britské listy interview. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Tuesday 8 November 2022.
