Abstract
This workshop will explore various elements of academic writing / practice that are assessed within MBChB coursework assignments at the University of Glasgow. Vancouver citation and referencing will be discussed giving examples of how commonly used sources for coursework assignments can be formatted. The use of figures and tables within coursework will also be covered along with their correct citation to avoid plagiarism. There will be the opportunity to look at samples of coursework and apply marking descriptors for academic writing / practice to these.
