Abstract

Czech critic and commentator Petr Fischer was one of the first people to comment on the 70 000-strong protest demonstration on Prague's Wenceslas Square on Saturday 3 September, which may become a major political turning point in the Czech Republic's development over the past 33 years. The government of Petr Fiala has not yet done much to resolve this crisis, time is flying and social destabilisation is imminent. How should politicians deal with the current situation in the Czech Republic is what Jan Čulík asked Petr Fischer in this Britské listy interview. The interview was broadcast on the Czech cable TV station Regional Television from Friday 9 September 2022.
