Abstract

"My generation, we grew up in a world where we always thought that one day everything would turn out for the better, that we would all have equal human rights, that society would start to take young people seriously, that we would be closer to the West and the European Union, and that we would be able to debate how to address climate policy. But instead, it is increasingly becoming clear that the generation of boomers and millennials is clinging to power and not allowing any new value orientations into politics. And that will create problems in the long run." Jan Čulík speaks Kryštof Stupka, the Czech Republic's youth delegate to the UN. This Britské listy interview was being broadcast by Regionalnitelevize.cz from Friday 27 May 2022.
