Abstract
On 20th September 2020, thousands of fish in the Moravian river Bečva were killed in an environmental disaster. One of the then Prime Minister Babiš's businesses is under suspicion of causing this by leaking cyanide into the river. However, river management specialist Arnošt Kult explains in this Britské listy interview that someone must have tried to neutralise the leaked cyanide by pouring large amounts of chlorine into the river and this is what killed the fish. The incident has never been properly investigated. This Britské listy inter view was broadcast on the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 3rd May 2022.
