Abstract
Russian troops kill women and children in Ukraine, they shoot at civilians and journalists, they place mines to block humanitarian escape routes. The Russian politicians systematically lie through their teeth. How can the world respond to this and what is the position of Central Europe in this crisis? Will Europe cope with hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees? Will not the citizens of Europe eventually turn against them, once they suffer from a serious drop in living standards and exorbitantly rising prices? Jan Čulík discusses these issues with Britské listy journalist and the manager of the Prague-based Innovation Institute Dr. Bohumil Kartous.
