Abstract
I curated this solo exhibition by the Berlin-based artist Jimmy Robert which included new works that responded to Glasgow's colonial history and to The Hunterian's permanent collection. The exhibition was supported by a grant from Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art, as well as by a partnership with Goethe Institut Glasgow. A grant from Art Fund enabled The Hunterian to commission and acquire a unique photographic self-portrait by Robert for its collection. The exhibition was accompanied by a publication and was featured as a case study by the Scottish Contemporary Art Network's project Curatorial Leadership in Collections (CLiC).
