Abstract
By deciding suddenly to withdraw all the US soldiers from Afghanistan, President Joe Biden has betrayed the Afgani population, exposing it the terror of the Taliban extremists, as well as exposing the whole world to it. Maybe Biden is senile, but are the senior officials at the US State Department and at the Pentagon also senile considering that the US authorities have behaved with such incredible incompetence? Jan Čulík talks to Milan Kohout, a graphic artist and performer who lives in Boston, US, about the attitudes of the American public to this catastrophe and about the reasons for these attitudes. This Britské listy Interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 24th August 2021.
