Abstract

"Factories, that is a part of a Czech religion, like churches in Poland, which no one is allowed to touch, so it seems that it is factories in the Czech Republic. Pity there is no world championship in explaining why something cannot be done, because, undoubtedly, the Czech would win this." Jan Čulík talks to mathematician René Levínský from the CERGE-EI research institute about the ever worsening, apocalyptic coronavirus situation in the Czech Republic. The prospects are truly depressing: the government acts incompetently when "organising" lockdown as well as vaccination. What next? The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Friday 26th February 2021.
