Abstract
Reach Scotland is a national programme, established through support from the Scottish Funding Council, with the overall aim of widening participation to high demand professions. Delivered two sessions to prospective students as part of the REACH Summer School Programme at the University of Glasgow - School of Veterinary Medicine. Instructional workshop sessions on the safe handling of surgical instruments and placement of basic sutures in model suture pads. Answered questions from prospective students on life at Glasgow Vet School and what to expect from the BVMS programme.
