Abstract

Workshop Learning Objectives: After attending the presentation, participants will be better prepared to: Understand how the Children’s Neighbourhoods Capabilities Research Model supports an empowering and self-directed approach to groupwork with children and young people Use the Capabilities Approach to generate a wellbeing framework for social action by groups of children and young people Use exploratory arts techniques to support group dialogue and deliberation on capabilities domains with children and young people Use the 3-C capabilities model to evaluate empowerment in groupwork settings with children and young people
