Abstract

What is the purpose of Christmas? What about loneliness? What about family relationships? What does the Czech playwright Jaroslav Dietl have in common with the meaning of Christmas? What is the attitude of the Czechs towards Christmas? These are some of the questions that Jan Čulík discusses with theologian and historian Richard Vlasák in this Christmas edition of the Britské listy Interview. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Wednesday 23rd December 2020.
