Abstract

Efficient RF-DC module is critical for RF energy harvesting systems. In this article, an efficient RF-DC module composed of a Dickson charge pump and an impedance matching network is designed. Through the design process, two simulation methods, transient analysis and harmonic balance method are compared. This conversion module has a maximum RF-DC conversion efficiency of 78.7%. Multiple software assistance such as MATLAB, Keysight Advanced Design System and LTSpice were used during the design process.
