Abstract

Luis Pérez-González's new book is essential reading for students and scholars working in audiovisual translation. It is also worth reading for people working in translation studies in general, as it offers an excellent introduction to audiovisual translation that confronts the changes happening in technology and participatory culture which are already having an effect on translation in different domains.<br/>Abingdon: Routledge, pp. 356, £25.99, ISBN: 978-0-415-53027-9
