Abstract

This paper provides an analysis of neoliberalism and the neoliberal paradigm of education policy from the viewpoint of Foucault's 'governmentality'. The paper provides, in addition to an analysis of Foucault's approach, a critical consideration of the various contributions of neo-Foucauldians to the study of governmentality, especially in relation to education policy.
