Abstract

Description in English: This article explores the results of an investigation into social factors influencing population health. The analysis is based on household surveys in small towns in the Nizhegorodskaya region of the Russian Federation. The article illustrates the reasons behind low nation population by showing the relationship between individual health and; occupation, life conditions, life style, educational level, incomes and the accessibility of medical services.
