Abstract
This special issue of Philosophies addresses questions of so-called ‘globality’ and media, paying particular attention to the way media and mediation offer new ways to describe, explore and critically evaluate global temporalities in the twenty-first century. In general, the special issue gathers togehter essays that ask can close attention to the function of media offer us new ways to think about time and temporality, including critical approaches to historiography? and, following on from this what do methods of communication - and miscommunication – tell us about the contemporary conditions of globality?
