Abstract

Jan Čulík talks to Bohumil Kartous about his forthcoming book "No Future: Are we using a steam engine to transport our children to virtual reality?" The book was published on 30th October 2019. Its author convincingly shows the how the highly conservative Czech educational system is totally unable to react to the dramatic techological and social challenges of the present. He also points out that older people in Czech society are losing their authority because they are unable to cope with the new digital world and so they are mocked by young people. The interview was broadcast by Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 25th October, 2019.
