Abstract
A stage play exploring the challenges incomers to the UK face that stem from their places of origin. synopsis: Mwana is a bright young man who represents the hopes and ambitions of his family in Zimbabwe. His failure at medical school in Glasgow is the catalyst that exposes the family’s deeper faults. How striving for material/status creates problems for this family, because they don’t have a rounded education, as they disregard traditional education and values.
