Abstract

Efficient direct locking of colliding pulse mode-locked lasers on semi-insulating substrates was demonstrated. Low timing jitter of 0.69 ps was obtained under the fundamental hybrid mode-locking (FH-ML) case with an injected RF power of +8 dBm at a repetition rate of 36 GHz.
