Abstract

In September 2018 the Dental School used a modified online Academic Skills module - originally developed by the University Widening Participation Team - as a formative module to aid with the transition into Higher Education for our new first-year students. Using information & student opinions collected in an evaluation of the module, this talk will reflect on the impact, effectiveness, and student opinions on the use of an online transition module as part of induction.
