Abstract

The state of health of Czech citizens, debt collection, debt slavery of more than 15 per cent of the inhabitants of the Czech Republic, the destruction of the environment, lack of water, air pollution, problems with the disposal of rubbish, an obsolete system of education, the labour market and its future under the onslaught of AI. At the end of 2018, Britské listy editors Jan Čulík and Bohumil Kartous discuss Czech politics and its prospects for the next twelve months. They wonder why Czech politicians never deal with the above-mentioned problems of contemporary Czech society. The programme was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 28th December 2018.
