Abstract

The magnetic switching behavior of rhombic elements has been studied as a function of applied field, temperature, and array spacing. The mean switching field and its standard deviation were characterized as a function of both temperature and array spacing, clearly showing evidence of interaction effects. The experimental results were compared with micromagnetic simulations, which were done using the LLG micromagnetic simulator.
