Abstract
In this paper, ship stability of randomly excited parametric roll resonance is studied. Parametric roll resonance will lead to severe roll motion and even capsize. Studies on parametric roll resonance have many challenges for the randomness and nonlinear. Characteristics of parametric roll resonance are investigated. Stability analysis based on irregular waves is significant. Wave phases is influential for parametric roll resonance in irregular waves.
