Abstract

Carapolides D and E, two new ring B cleaved tetranortriterpenoids, and carapolide F, a novel tetranortriterpenoid spirolactone, have been isolated from the seeds of Carapa grandiflora and have been assigned structures (1), (3) and (6) on the basis of their 1H and 13C spectroscopic properties.
