Abstract

September 2011 saw the global release of the Hollywood film, I Don’t Know How She Does It, based on a bestseller by Allison Pearson. The film stars Sarah Jessica Parker as a middle class would-be-supermom devoted to her husband, children and full-time career in finance, with a demanding boss and an unsympathetic corporate workplace.
