Abstract
One of a series of invited contributions reflecting on Scotland 2016-2021 - on the goals for the Holyrood government in the wake of the Indyref. (Submission date was before the Brexit referendum, although the postscript to the collection refers to this.) This short essay considers the question of political vision and discusses Augustinian and Franciscan modes of politics, before going on to set out some suggestions for the kind of economic policies we should aspire to.
