Abstract
The ‘Leading to promote resilience’ workshop will present the theory and evidence that supports the identity leadership model (Reicher et al., 2005; Haslam et al., 2011) and the complementary ASPIRe model of group organization (Haslam et al., 2003). These models distinctively highlight the importance of the shared endeavour of leaders and followers, focusing on identity resources in groups at work. The workshop will present these models, it will involve exercises aimed at understanding the practical implementation on the models and it will show how they can be applied to create cohesive, inclusive and resilient working groups.
