Abstract

Labour pain is influenced by numerous factors including maternal age, psychological factors and social deprivation [1]. There are no published data on how these variables interact. This study aimed to determine the key factor(s) predicting labour pain. The identification of any such factor(s) may allow appropriate resources to be targeted at those likely to benefit and improve maternal satisfaction.
