Abstract

This paper explores the influence of public value on decision making through the lens of Intelligent Transportation System. To address the aim of the study we adopt an inductive crossnational comparative case-study approach in the Netherlands and the UK. The initial findings indicate that public value concept is practiced within transportation sector in these two countries. The extent of the adoptions is mainly in line with the respective theoretical regimes, i.e. New Public Service and New Public Management.
