Abstract
This report provides an insight into ‘good practice’ in corporate financial communications. The report studies the disclosure choices faced by companies and identifies broad categories of value-relevant information for disclosure to analysts and fund managers. The dynamic communication process between companies and the market is considered and a model is developed for corporate financial communication which could be used as a basis for designing new disclosure guidance.
