Abstract
An Aldeburgh residency which explored the Scottish and Irish influences on Purcell’s music, and his subsequent influence on Scottish musicians. The project drew together early music specialists and singers from traditional and contemporary music alongside legendary countertenor James Bowman. Recording for release by Delphian Records in 2015.
