Abstract
The aim of this study was to audit recommendations contained within the clinical supervision (CS) of psychological therapies guideline and specifically, whether psychological therapists have appropriate training and competencies in generic CS. Results showed that the majority of supervisors perceived themselves to be competent in CS and a positive relationship was found between perceived competencies and years as a supervisor.
