Abstract

In this introduction, we provide a context for the following collection of papers, noting the impetus behind our call for submissions for a paper session on ‘Feminist Methodologies,’ to be presented at the 2002 Annual Meeting of the Institute of British Geographers, as well as the ensuing debate in Belfast. We provide a brief summary of each of the following papers, highlighting the ways in which each invokes power as a key component of feminist research.
