Abstract

The purpose of this evaluation is to test the contribution to employers made by the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives (SCHWL) through two key areas of its activity. The first is its services to employers, the second is the HWL Award Programme. The purpose of the telephone survey briefing paper is to test the contribution to employers made by the Centre through its services to employers, and the HWL Award Programme. More specifically it seeks to assess SCHWL's impact on employer behaviours and practices and employer performance. Building on the Theory of Change (ToC) published in June 2010, the three-tier evaluation strategy of an e-survey, telephone survey and in-depth case studies has been rolled out.
