Abstract
In December 1919 professor Osvald Siren (1879-1966) took his students of Art History at the University of Stockholm for a two-week-tour in Berlin. It was a feast of art for the students and they not only met illustrious figures such as Wilhelm von Bode, but also got access to the growing East Asian collection which at the time was still in storage. The research is based on notes found in the Siren Archive in the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities in Stockholm.
