Abstract

This paper describes an integrated CAD and simulation environment for the design and analysis of multivariable closed-loop systems and its application to problems of helicopter flight control. Problems of robustness in helicopter flight control system design arise both as aresult of unmodelled vehicle dynamics and changes in the vehicle model with cahnges of flight condition. The use of the integrated design environment for the investigation of robustness is discussed in the context of this application.
